No survivors located after helicopter with 6 aboard crashes in California, officials say

NIPTON, Calif. (KSNV) — No survivors have been found after a helicopter with six people on board crashed Friday near the California-Nevada border, authorities said.
Officials reported a downed aircraft east of the 15-Freeway near Halloran Springs Road around 10:12 p.m. on Friday night, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The Federal Aviation Administration said that the Eurocopter EC 130 helicopter crashed near Nipton, California, and six people were on board.
SBCSD said no survivors have been located as of Saturday morning.
The National Transportation Safety Board and FAA are continuing the investigation.
