My Experience and Review! MyFigureCollection.net

Now if you're a collector that does frequent figure purchases online I'm almost certain that you've gotten at least one of those targeted ads for Toreba's app/web crane game. Looks simple enough; Just win the prize for points and only pay shipping, right?
At first I was confident, using my free play tickets and points to try and win prizes for free and actually winning once or twice. In my first week I won a Toonize Kagamine Len prize figure on my first try. Not only did I win the figure with a free play ticket, but I also got free shipping, making it 100% free. At this point I started to get cocky and try to win some of the other Vocaloid and Kimetsu no Yaiba prizes offered, but soon enough I began to realize the true nature of Toreba.

Unless you're some amazingly talented crane whiz then you're never going to win more than your first prize. Oh, you just got that Book of Circus prize figure hanging off the edge where it's about to fall? You turn your back for one second and the staff has already reset the machine, moving the prizes back to their previously unwinnable locations.
Not only do the staff move the prizes in the middle of your plays from time to time, but the cranes 90% of the time are too weak to actually pick up the prize unless you're really lucky. Those machines that have claws strong enough will dangle the prize in the air for a good 10 seconds until it falls back down, never giving it a chance to move towards the winning drop site. On top of the claws being super weak when it comes to grabbing prizes, the prizes themselves almost feel as if the staff purposely weighs them down, turning a normally easy to pick up prize into a block of led. Between the weight of the prize, the annoying resets of the machine, and the bars being coated in non-slip rubber/plastic, any influencer who tries to get you to play Toreba is trying to take advantage of you and your money. After spending 6 months and over 50 bucks of my money trying to win more than ONE prize I can confidently say that the first prize you win is no more than a trick to get your confidence up.
Not even focusing on the app itself, When I received my prize it was almost like the ups guy took a bat and smashed the shit out of it. Out of the 50 or so figures I've purchased in all my 10 years, this is the only figure I've ever had that the box came destroyed. Not just the packaging, the figure's box itself! If you're hoping to sell that prize off and make a buck, you ain't makin shit if it looks like it just passed through a camel's digestive system
Overall Impressions
Prize variety: great prizes honestly it's hard to choose between them
Difficulty/ability to actually win: if you're just an average guy good luck winning more than 2 prizes
Shipping: the free shipping is both slow as dirt and it results in your prize being practically destroyed in transit
Enjoyment: It's exciting to play, but sometimes the game is just ridiculous and makes you mad
Overall score: 3/10
It's cheaper to buy the prize outright for $30 rather than shelling out 50 buckaroos for your prize to show up like it just got back from hell. The only way to make a killing is if you have a lot of experience with these types of crane games or you're one of those guys who can win 16 Tanjiro prizes without trouble.
